Zoo Atlanta

Alex and Ava (our twin nieces) from Memphis came to visit for Easter. Jamey was dying to take them to the zoo so we loaded everyone up and headed to Atlanta. My sisters and their two boys also went so it meant for a full day. The kids loved the animals. Alex loved them so much that she would cry each time we left one area for the next. She finally figured out the whole zoo concept after about 4 or 5 animals. We ventured into the petting zoo. Jack loved brushing the goats. We were all surprised that Alex didn't really want anything to do with the animals. Us girls then loaded up all the kids and too the little train ride. The men of course hung out in the shade while Jamey caught up on the NCAA basketball brackets. I am beating him so he was checking the scores constantly. Here are a few of the better pictures.

The Big 4-0!!!

Jeff Kinsella turned 40 this year. Lee had a big birthday celebration at their place. Check out the cake. It tasted like bananas dipped in chocolate. Yumm....

Happy Birthday Jeff!

Savannah and Tybee Island

During my "mid-winter" break from school, Jamey and I took a trip down to Savannah and Tybee Island. The weather was cold and rainy except of course for our last full day there. We did manage to get in a couple of tours in downtown. However our favorite adventure was on Saturday when we visited Fort Pulaski. We did the self-tour, the guided tour and even "hiked" (if you want to call it that) out to the old Cockspur Lighthouse. It happened to be low tide so we got pretty close to it. These are a few of our favorite pictures from the trip.

Benjamin Turns One!!!

It seems like just yesterday that Benjamin was born. He turned one on March 2nd. He had just learned to walk and was socializing with everyone at the party.
