We (my mom, my sisters,
and their two kids, oh and my brother-n-law) decided to take a trip to the North Georgia mountains to visit Burt's Pumpkin Farm. The kids loved seeing all the pumpkins and riding on the hayride. It was crowded but not too badly. We all picked the perfect pumpkin and then had to figure out how we were going to get them all home. Pumpkins, carseats, strollers, and kids don't mix in a car. We definitly needed a conversion van. After Burt's we headed right up the road to Amicalola Falls. There wasn't much to the waterfall because of the drought but we got some pictures in the stream and Jack loved playing in the water.

Mountains
Jamey and I took an extended weekend trip to the mountains at the beginning of September. Our reason was to go to the Southern Miss/Tenn football game but we stayed longer and enjoyed the late summer weather in the mountains. We spent one entire day in Cade's Cove and exploring the Great Smokey Mountains. We wanted to go tubing in Townsend but the river was so low we didn't even try it. And of course, I forgot my camera for the football game. It was very exciting but we left with a loss. Jamey was sad but we had a great time anyway.
